Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) is a flowering plant in the mint family, native to Europe, northern Africa, and southwestern and central Asia and has been used traditionally as an expectorant and continues to find a place in cough lozenges and cold preparations.

DOSAGE

For Adults: Take two capsules two times per day or otherwise directed by your healthcare practitioner. In some circumstances, take two capsules three times per day for additional support.

For Children 12 and under: Take one capsule two times per day or otherwise directed by your healthcare practitioner. In some circumstances, take one capsule four times per day for additional support.

Dosing In Tea Form: Mix three to four capsules into 10 oz of hot water with 2 tsp of honey. (Honey helps with absorption).

Warning: Not to be used during 1st trimester of pregnancy.

Horehound is used for digestion problems including diabetes, loss of appetite, indigestion, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, and liver and gallbladder complaints.

FOR BEST RESULTS

Take all capsules with a full glass of water (8 to 12oz).
